Dr. Pallegar completed his MBBS from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Bangalore, DNB in Neurosurgery Apollo Hospitals, Chennai and a Fellowship in Epilepsy Surgery and Functional Neurosurgery from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Amrita Advanced Centre for Epilepsy, Kochi.

He has completed EEG and Epilepsy Course from Cleveland Clinic, USA and functional neurosurgery and brain volumetry observership from Edmonton, Canada. He has also completed training in Pediatric Neurosurgery in Kolkata and at Sick Kids Hospital. Toronto. Canada.

An associate member of the Neurological Surgeons Society of India, Dr. Pallegar has several presentations at both national and international conferences.

He has worked as a Consultant Neurosurgeon in the Cayman Islands and has a rich experience in treating patients from the Caribbean and the United States.

He has independently performed more than 500 Trauma surgeries, 250 stereotactic procedures, 1350 brain tumors, 130 epilepsy surgeries, 20 Deep Brain Stimulation surgeries and more than 350 spinal surgeries.

He was also instrumental in setting up the Neurosurgery Department at People Tree Hospitals, Bangalore and in setting up the Functional and Epilepsy Surgery programme at NH Health City, Bangalore.
